Bed and Breakfast en BROADSTAIRS, en casa de Karen

Here are some reviews of Karen's place by travellers from all over the world: Latya stayed there in June 2010: "I founded this homestay for my daughter and her friend. That was excellent , this is a very good, and safety place for your childrens and for the jittery parents too :) My daughter wrote this review: I think Broadstairs is the most beautiful town of the eastern coast. The atmosphere in Karen's house is very pleasant, you can meet nice people from all around the world. There are a lot of things to do in and around Broadstairs, never a dull moment. Everyone is friendly and cheerful in this house and all English people... are very hospitable. I recommend it to everyone, to shy students as well because Karen is so friendly that she will surely make you speak and feel comfortable." "I have been staying in this bed and breakfast for three weeks. I really had a good time here. The place is really well decorated. It is very 'tranquil' and very clean. The house is next to the sea and Broadstairs town. It is perfect for sightseeing or studying. The host/landlady is kind and cheerful and gives you a great welcome. The breakfast is continental and of an excellent standard. I really enjoyed my time here and would recommend future guests and travellers. Roxana from Sweden" DrDar, stayed there in 2009 with his friends: "This B&B is very well located - close to the station and Viking Beach - you won't have to walk far to take in what Broadstairs has to offer. The house has been recently renovated with lovely spacious bathrooms (ours had a spa-bath and sea view!) so although you dont get an ensuite (I think there is a double room though that does), you dont really miss it either! Our host was helpful and cheerful, and we didnt really bump into many visitors (so this place really is tranquil!) We were spared the Great British fry-up and instead treated to toasts, jams, cereals, yoghurts and a huge pot of tea. The only downers about staying here are 1) the rooms are small and 2) parking as the house is situated at the end of a very narrow road so if you're planning to drive it might be a squeeze finding a parking space. Saying that though the road is rather short and there is a car park close by. The place offers fantastic value for money - I'd certainly stay here if you want to go budget but don't want to slum it!"
