From the M8 east bound, follow signs to the City By-pass North, then all signs for the City Centre. Follow Glasgow Road until you get to the roundabout with the purple PC World / McDonalds / Bank of Scotland on it. Turn left onto Drum Brae South and proceed up the hill. Number 85, Ardbrae House is on the left hand side next to the speed camera.

Being to the west of Edinburgh, we are conveniently located midway between Edinburgh Airport and the city centre. Our establishment is non-smoking and has a free wireless internet connection facility. We have private off-street parking and an excellent 24/7 bus service (number 26) into the city centre. There is also a swimming pool and gym within a 5 minute walk. There are two double en suite rooms and one twin en suite room (which can also have a single folding bed or travel cot added if requested). The rooms have the following features: complimentary tea and coffee making facilities with shortbread biscuits; remote controlled colour TV; alarm clock; hairdryer; shaving point. VisitScotland have graded us as a 3 star bed and breakfast. We accept cash, cheques and debit/credit cards (Visa/Mastercard/American Express, but charge 5% extra for this service). We are happy to negotiate a discount for longer stays. Arrival times are between 4.00pm to 10.00pm, but these can be changed with prior agreement. Included in the tariff is the choice of a substantial continental breakfast (cereals, fruit, yogurts, fruit juice, toast and tea/coffee), creamy hot porridge or a traditional Scottish breakfast (eggs any way you like, bacon, sausage, haggis, black pudding, fruit pudding, baked beans, grilled tomato and potato scone). We can also cater for vegetarian tastes. Please book early for the Edinburgh International Festival and Military Tattoo in July and August and the Hogmanay celebrations at New Year (please note minimum 3 night stays for these peak times).
