I am an American Expat who loves living in Nepal. I needed to move into my own building because Nepali leave the windows and doors open all year and there is no insulation. I found a lovely, brand new building in an amazing location. It's in Changunarayan and always has a nice, gentle breeze during the summertime. The views are amazing and the place is so restful.
There is plenty to see and do here. In fact, Changunarayan is on the Kathmandu Valley Rim Trekking Route, which is free of permits and we are only slightly further from the airport than Kathmandu is-but in the opposite direction. Changunarayan was once an island in the lake when this valley was filled with water.
We have a lot of value in our prices. We provide towels, top sheet, bathrobe, mosquito nets and paddles, toilet paper, laundry service on tip basis, guest living room and a lot more. The level of care we provide is second to none. One day I had a guest who couldn't get rid of a stomach issue so I took the specimen to the lab for her. It is always our pleasure to help our guests to have a great time in Nepal. We can help you with your activities and if you have a problem with anything we will be your advocate. If you become ill our guest house is an excellent place to rest up and we work hard to always have water.
I wrote a book to help tourists deal with traveling to Nepal. It helps travelers to have a better time on less money. We recently started building our Youtube channel with travel tips for tourists; it's really a lot like the book. #WhatAboutNepal
